so far this summer has been...how should i say..OK?

it's good that i work a lot now..from time to time make some

art work. i feel like time is just passing me by and i

haven't done much (i don't think) that i could

say an accomplishment.

-i gotta finish AT LEAST ONE BOOK by the time summer ends

-i gotta keep on drawing and painting

-i gotta go to a derma

-i gotta go far away before school starts
(or i might go loco without a little getaway)

-and i gotta make peace with myself

today's bit:

playing with browny was a good way to start my day

cleaning was also a good way to start your day,
(you get a sense of accomplishment right away)

watching my cousin's choir performance live in venice

man did i find good clearance items at michaels today!!
(you just always gotta look at clearance items..
---it's like jackpot in the retail lottery!!  )

i had a great nap...it's been a while since i got to nap..so that was good

but loook what i got:

i've finished this a while ago and still haven't given it to the owner yet,
as a birthday present so..i'm not gonna reveal the whole thing hehee

Coasters Art

I forgot what the occasion was (maybe..Xmas), but my friends John&Pearl gave us

 these set of glass coasters from Crate and Barrel (Barel?)..

on which has a window where you could put a small photo in.

I thought hey..I should put something in there so it won't look bland and boring

since now we're using it on our coffee table.

Funny..I did not want to go through the trouble of cropping pictures BUT I ended up doing

a whole series (set of 4) of drawings which definitely took longer than mere crop and cut photos.

--i was so determined to finished it in one day, in one sitting
     (so good thing they were tiny hehee)
  there i got:

FUZZY BUNNY COCOA, SWAN LAKE LATTE, BIRDIE TEA, & ICY FISHY COOLA

where the heck did i get those names?!?! beats me i drew the animal first then
i just made up some bizarre name which obviously are all beverage related

--final product. i think the fishy one is probably the weakest tho --

total hours worked: i'd say 1.5-2 hours each. from paper craft to 'framing'
